Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Vince is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of Dr. Vince Psychological Services, which provides individual therapy and consultative services.
Dr. Vince is committed to the mental health, emotional well-being and general wellness of Black men. He recognized a need for mental health resources that acknowledged, understood and addressed the unique needs of Black men. Therefore, it is his mission to address this need by
providing a safe space where Black men can discuss issues of importance to them free of fear, shame and judgement.
In his private practice, Dr. Vince aims to provide a therapy space that
acknowledges the uniqueness and diversity of Black men’s experiences, while also having a cultural awareness and understanding of Black men’s mental health treatment needs.
Professionally, Dr. Vince is a graduate of Morehouse College and received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Vince is a licensed clinical psychologist in Georgia with over 10 years of clinical experience. Dr. Vince specializes in individual therapy and has worked with diverse groups including faith communities, active duty service members, veterans, people diagnosed with severe mental illness, individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction, the LGBTQ+ community, adolescents, older adults and people living with HIV/AIDS. Dr. Vince's strengths-based approach to clinical work aims to assist clients in
identifying, cultivating and utilizing their strengths to achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
